We are less than two weeks away from the 2017 NFL Draft, and Sheldon Richardson’s future with the team is anybody’s guess. There have been rumors of a possible trade going back to the season. He remains a Jet at the moment, however. What will happen?

Nobody really knows, but pulling off a trade will not be easy. I am sure the Jets can find a taker if they are really motivated to move Richardson, but getting something resembling equal value for his talent will be trickier. There are many issues which make his value lower to other teams than his raw talent level would suggest, and that is the topic of our podcast today. I think most teams would jump at a chance to add a player with Richardson’s ability, but there are other circumstances that make him much less attractive to potential suitors.
