Predraft visits to the Jets by quarterback Draft prospects Patrick Mahomes and Mitchell Trubisky have been previously reported. We knew they were coming. This happens to be quarterback week in Florham Park. Mahomes visited with the team yesterday, while Trubisky’s visit will come today.
Continuing their pre-draft homework on quarterbacks, the Jets are hosting Texas Tech's Patrick Mahomes today,... https://t.co/3emR7pAXOS

#Jets are expected to have QB Mitch Trubisky in for a pre-draft visit tomorrow, source said. They previously worked him out.

There is clear interest in a quarterback for the Jets. They might ultimately not take any of them. Remember, this is part of the evaluation process. The evaluation might be that they like none of these guys. There is ample evidence, however, that the Jets are seriously considering taking a quarterback early.
In the case of Mahomes, this nugget recently came out.
Patrick Mahomes II would have hired Jeremy Bates as his private QB coach this off-season - until Jets hired him as QB coach. Mutual respect.

I have no idea what to read into that so take it for what you will.
In other predraft visit news...
#VCU hoopster/football player Mo Alie Cox is slated to visit the #Chiefs, #Bucs, #Jets, #Colts, #Seahawks, #Chargers. Others may be added.

As a reminder, the Jets can host up to 30 prospects who do not have local ties on visits before the 2017 NFL Draft.
