Jamal Adams’ unofficial 4.33 time in the 40 yard dash at his pro day last week likely answered any questions NFL teams might have had about his speed. Even before that, Adams was a likely top ten pick and a possible top five pick. Running a 40 at that clip certainly isn’t going to hurt his stock.
Do you believe Adams really ran a 4.33? Well this is your chance to show your scouting skills. Get out your stopwatch (or stopwatch app on your smartphone).
These days the NFL Draft is so heavily covered that we actually have video from drills at pro days. We have access to footage of Adams’ 40 yard dash.
212-lb safety.

Projected top 10 pick.@LSUFootball's @TheAdams_era runs a 4.45 40-yard dash at his pro day! https://t.co/uPYokIYBnU
I thought it might be fun to let everybody put on their scout hat and see what time you get from this 40 time. I clocked Adams at 4.31 seconds.
Let us know what time you get on your stopwatch.
