RB Benny Cunningham To Visit Jets

Some more exciting news for you Jets fans.

NFL: Miami Dolphins at Los Angeles Rams Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

The Jets are set to host RB/KR Benny Cunningham:

Benny does a little bit of everything, a little rushing, a little catching and a little returning.

He joined the St Louis/LA Rams after going undrafted in 2013. He rushed 47 times for 261 yards while catching 6 balls for 59 yards as a rookie. In 2014 he logged 3 rushing TD's and 2 receiving TD's on 45 receptions. In 2016, Benny was limited to just 21 carries for 101 yards as the Rams struggled to block much of anything. He also landed on the disabled list in December with a neck injury.

For his career, Cunningham has 748 rushing yards and 4 TD's with 93 receptions for 752 yards and 1 touchdown, although he has also put 6 balls on the floor.

He has returned 95 kicks for 2575 yards for a 27.1 yard return average, although he's yet to take one to the house. With Khiry Robinson being cut and Jalin Marshall facing a 4 game ban, a player who can act as depth at RB while returning kicks may be quite attractive.
