It is time to get nostalgic. Today is the last day of the legal tampering period in 2017. Maybe we will have a montage at the end of the day.

Day one of the legal tampering period was sleepy. There were a few rumors but not a lot of big news. The Jets were linked with a few players, including tight end Anthony Fasano. There were also reports of their interest in quarterback Mike Glennon, which seemed to fall somewhere between lukewarm and none.

Free agency officially kicks off tomorrow as the new league year begins, but teams are once again allowed to talk to free agents today. Will the second day be more exciting? Will the Jets make some news? Outside of New York, will the Kirk Cousins situation be resolved? Will the Chargers and D.J. Fluker end their professional relationship?

Brandon Marshall signing with the Giants

This seems like a great move for the Giants. It’s a pretty cheap two year deal. Marshall may or may not be at a point where he can carry the load of a passing attack, but he should thrive where the focus is on stopping somebody else (Odell Beckham, Jr.).
