A report out of CSN Chicago indicates the Jets might be out of the race for free agent quarterback Mike Glennon.
CSN Chicago reports the 49ers, Jets, and Bills have all dropped out of the bidding for free agent Mike Glennon.
There is other buzz about a lack of interest in Glennon.
I believe Mike Glennon is likely to end up with the Bears. I do not believe the Jets or 49ers have legitimate interest. @nflnetwork

At this time of year, there is always the possibility buzz like this is a smokescreen.
Right now, however, signs seem to be pointing to the Jets not pursuing Glennon. With rumors flying that Glennon could be looking at a $15 million annual deal, it would be tough to blame them.
I’m actually higher on Glennon than a lot of people, but risk like that would be too rich for my blood. I don’t think there is an available quarterback worth committing to for more than one year, and the mechanics of a Glennon deal would likely require at least two seasons.
