Todd Bowles spoke with the media on Tuesday. He did not offer a ton of information. He mentioned a few things of note about the quarterback position. He refused to name a starter for 2017. He also mentioned that the Jets could potentially use the sixth pick on a quarterback. That should come as no major surprise. The team has offered indications for a while that this was a possibility.
The Jets also signed an offensive lineman on Tuesday, albeit not a very accomplished one.
This got me thinking about both the possibility the Jets will take a quarterback and the state of the offensive line. Ideally, you want to put a rookie quarterback behind a rock solid offensive line.
