Here is an interesting note this morning. According to our good buddy Darryl Slater, the Jets have offered a contract to K'Waun Williams. Although Slater doesn't confirm the teams who also offered him a contract, the Lions, 49'ers, Vikings and Dolphins were all said to be very interested in him.
He is a native of Paterson, New Jersey, so playing close to home could play a part in his decision.

As we reported earlier this month, the Jets met with the former Cleveland cornerback and it seems they were suitably impressed. This does raise the question as to if we may be thinking about trying to move on from Buster Skrine in some way, alternatively it could easily just be a depth signing.
After signing with the Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2014, he was pretty productive for two years in Cleveland as a nickel corner. He racked up 69 tackles, 2 sacks, 8 passes defensed and 3 forced fumbles, receiving rave reviews by coaches at the time.
