Over the last few days, you have seen David provide a great set of profiles on the 2016 rookie class for the Jets. The team did not get much in the way of impact rookie seasons, but there were some things to leave you optimistic about the respective futures of some of these players. On today's podcast, we take a look to the future. What do these players need to do for 2017 to be considered a success?

It is usually best to expect little from young players and hope they surprise you. That is not going to be an option for the 2017 Jets. As a result of years of poor drafting, they do not have many players on second contracts to carry the load. That means they will need to lean on their young players to handle big workloads. It might not be fair to need so many players in their second year to carry starter level snaps, but that might be where the Jets are.
