Ryan Fitzpatrick's contract with the Jets voids today, bringing an end to an eventful two year run with the team. I don't think Fitzpatrick will have much of a legacy in Jets lore, but the last two years have been interesting. On today's podcast, I look back at the brief Fitz Era and provide some thoughts.
It wasn't all good. It wasn't all bad. The good mostly came in 2015 with one big exception, and the bad mostly came in 2016 with one exception. The two exceptions were both road games in Buffalo, and I wonder aloud on the show whether Fitzpatrick would be remembered differently by this fanbase had those games been flipped.
