NFL power rankings this week are rewarding the Jets for their win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Some rankings have the Jets as high as 15.
15. New York Jets
20. New York Jets
The Jets used their first two picks to draft safeties Jamal Adams and Marcus Maye. While they've allowed the second-most passing touchdowns (24) this season, but the safeties are getting experience. Maye ranks second in defensive snaps played by rookies this year while Adams ranks fourth.
15. New York Jets
The Jets are the very best NFL team in all of East Rutherford, N.J. That’s not exactly high praise at the moment. But it’s more than anyone had a right to expect from them this season.
22. New York Jets
23. New York Jets
The Jets suspended linebacker Darron Lee for Sunday’s game for showing up late to Saturday’s practice, and defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson for a quarter after he was late to a team meeting (far from the first time he has been disciplined by the team). Todd Bowles can do only so much. At some point these players have to act like professionals.
