Jets-Chiefs Second Half Thread

It certainly was a wild first half at MetLife Stadium.

The first five minutes looked a lot like a 2016 Jets game. Receivers were running wide open deep down the field, and the Jets looked listless. A pair of Travis Kelce touchdowns put Kansas City ahead 14-0 before anybody’s seat got warm.

The Jets responded, however, with a pair of touchdown drives to knot the game at 14 after the first quarter. The Jets had to overcome another shaky replay review costing them a touchdown, but they scored anyway on the next play.

In the second quarter, a Kansas City field goal was set up by a 70 yard scramble by Alex Smith. The Jets took the lead on a Matt Forte touchdown catch from Josh McCown right before halftime.

It was a very entertaining half of football. Will the second half be as eventful? We will have to watch.
