Juston Burris was the third cornerback for the Jets on Sunday. The 2016 fourth round pick played 48 snaps, which accounted for 66% of the defensive plays on Sunday.
Xavier Cooper seemed to be the biggest beneficiary of Muhammad Wilkerson’s absence. The defensive lineman played 53 snaps, which accounted for 73% of the defensive player on Sunday.
As usual four Jets defenders never left the field, and they were Demario Davis, Jamal Adams, Marcus Maye, and Darron Lee. The top two cornerbacks, Morris Claiborne and Buster Skrine, only came off the field for two plays each.
Leonard Williams only saw 33 snaps before leaving the game with an injury.
