Colts vs Ravens Game Thread

With the 2017 NFL regular season winding down the games take on heightened significance for the playoff hopes of contending teams. Saturday NFL football is a late season oddity, and today we have two Saturday NFL games. In the 4:30 game we have the 3-11 Indianapolis Colts traveling to Baltimore, Maryland to take on the 8-6 Baltimore Ravens.

The Indianapolis Colts come into the game reeling, losers of eight of their last nine games. The Colts compensate for their terrible, 31st rated offense with an equally terrible 30th rated defense. The hapless Colts have only won one game on the road all year, and have yet to beat a team with more than 4 wins.

The Baltimore Ravens come into the game needing a victory to keep their playoff hopes alive and kicking. The Ravens boast the NFL's best defense at creating turnovers. The Ravens offense also has been scoring points in bunches, averaging 36.3 points per game over their last three games. At home against a Colts team that rarely scores more than 20 points, this game looks like a mismatch on paper.

It's the Indianapolis Colts and the Baltimore Ravens in a late December Saturday skirmish.
