The Jets got some good news on the injury report ahead of their Week 16 game against the Chargers. Defensive lineman Leonard Williams is out of the concussion protocol. He practiced fully on Friday and appears ready to play on Sunday against Los Angeles.
In other news, the Jets have ruled Brian Winters out of the game with an abdominal injury. Brent Qvale will start at right guard in Winters’ place.
In other news on the offensive line, Wesley Johnson is questionable with a hip injury. Jonotthan Harrison or Dakota Dozier would start in his place if the center is unable to go according to Todd Bowles.
Meanwhile, Bilal Powell could be in for extra work this week. Matt Forte is questionable with a knee injury, while Elijah McGuire is also questionable with an illness.
