Recap: Jets Eliminated in New Orleans

NFL: New York Jets at New Orleans Saints Chuck Cook-USA TODAY Sports

The Jets will be home for the postseason. There is now no doubt. Heading into Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints, the Playoffs were a long shot, but there was at least a slight chance. That is now gone. New York was officially eliminated in a 31-19 loss to the Saints. For the seventh straight season, there will be no Playoffs for the Jets.

On today's podcast we talk about the game. In many weeks the quarterback gets too much credit when the team wins and takes too much blame when the team loses. This is not one of those weeks. Bryce Petty was not up to the task of starting for the Jets as the team was unable to come through in a winnable game.

In addition to talking about the game, we also provide some thoughts on another season without Playoffs. The Jets have now missed the postseason seven straight times. Is there any light at the end of the tunnel.

We also have to address the crazy finish to yesterday's game in Pittsburgh.
