The Jets move closer to the end of the 2017 season today on the road against the New Orleans Saints. At 5-8, postseason hopes are dim for New York. The question is whether the team can put together a strong end to the season.
Bryce Petty gets his first start of the season today. Although the Jets will likely be looking at drafting a quarterback no matter what happens over the final three weeks of the season, Petty can at least make his case to be part of the Jets' future by playing well and getting some positive film on the record. The Baylor product's 2016 work was not pretty. Was his preseason a success a fluke or a sign of things to come? We might know more after this game.
