SNF: Cowboys vs Raiders Game Thread

Sunday Night Football, Week 15. Tonight the 7-6 Dallas Cowboys travel to the Oakland Coliseum in Oakland, California to take on the 6-7 Oakland Raiders in a battle of two teams clinging to slim playoff hopes.

The Dallas Cowboys come into the game having beaten only one winning team all season. The Cowboys have struggled in the absence of running back Ezekiel Elliott, currently serving the last game of a six game suspension. However, the Cowboys' struggles go beyond the loss of Elliott. Their vaunted offensive line has not been as dominant as in the past, their young quarterback Dak Prescott has struggled in his sophomore season, their defense has been mediocre at best, and the Cowboys are barely clinging to hopes of a wild card playoff berth.

The Oakland Raiders come into the game struggling much like the Cowboys. The Raiders have also beaten just one winning team all year. The Raiders, like the Cowboys, have not had quite so dominant an offensive line this season. Also like the Cowboys, the Raiders young quarterback has struggled, and the defense has been mediocre at best.

A game that some thought might be a clash of titans at the beginning of the season has devolved into a desperate struggle for survival among middling teams with little if any hope of a deep playoff run.

It's the Cowboys and the Raiders on Sunday Night.

Enjoy the game everybody. As always we ask that you neither ask for nor post illegal streaming links.
