Jets-Broncos defensive snap totals: Darron Lee never leaves the field in his return

NFL: New York Jets at Denver Broncos Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

Darron Lee returned to the lineup Sunday after missing the Jets’ previous game against the Kansas City Chiefs as a disciplinary measure. The Jets threw Lee right back into the lineup. The second year linebacker was in for all 70 snaps the Jets played on defense in the loss to the Denver Broncos. That is no great surprise as Lee has seldom come off the field this season.

Joining Lee as ironmen of the game against Denver were Jamal Adams, Demario Davis, and Marcus Maye. Buster Skrine only sat out three snaps.

These were the only Jets to play at least 90% of the snaps on defense.

It would be no surprise to see the Jets were substituting frequently. Denver is a challenging place to play due to the altitude. It makes sense to move guys in and out of the lineup. Unfortunately, doing so did not help the Jets much.

Full defensive snap totals are below for Sunday’s game.
