2018 NFL Draft order: Jets currently hold 11th pick

NFL: New York Jets at Denver Broncos Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

Some Jets fans have been thinking about the Draft since before the season started. Yesterday’s loss to the Denver Broncos will probably have more fans looking in that direction. Denver’s 23-0 victory put the Jets on the cusp of elimination from the postseason race.

One of the great debates among Jets fans all year has been whether to root for the team to tank for a better Draft pick or to root for the team to have success. At this point, we have a situation that leaves nobody satisfied. At 5-8, the Jets are not a very good team. They probably are not going to the Playoffs. At the same time, they are not looking at a premium Draft selection. New York currently owns the 11th pick in the 2018 Draft, and it will be tough to get higher than 5th even if the team loses out.

The current Draft order is posted below.

  1. Browns
  2. Giants
  3. Colts
  4. 49ers
  5. Broncos
  6. Browns (from Texans)
  7. Bears
  8. Buccaneers
  9. Bengals

  14. Raiders
  15. Chargers
  16. Cowboys
