Coming off an exciting win over the Chiefs, hopes were high the Jets could keep the momentum going in Week 14. The Denver Broncos entered this game playing terrible football. Unfortunately, a game against the Jets was just what the doctor ordered for Denver. The Broncos defeated New York 23-0 in Sunday's Week 14 game dropping the Jets to 5-8 and likely putting the finishing touches on their Playoff hopes.
Despite how things looked on paper, there were plenty of reasons to be concerned about this matchup going in. The Jets failed to execute on a number of early plays and things just snowballed from there. We will talk about all of this on today's podcast along with the struggles of key players, namely Morris Claiborne and the offensive line.
We will also talk about where the Jets go from here. There might not be much of a decision to make as Josh McCown broke his hand, which might mean the end of his season. Even in a world where that didn't happen, it probably would be time to get some younger players experience. We will discuss this on today's show.
