Thursday Night Football, Week 10. The 5-3 Seattle Seahawks travel to University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona to take on the 4-4 Arizona Cardinals in a showdown for 2nd place in the NFC West.
The Seahawks are a team gradually shifting from one dominated by a superb defense and a strong running game to one dominated by the talented quarterback Russell Wilson. The legendary Legion of Boom, while still formidable, is slowly sinking from near invincible to just very good. Age and injuries are beginning to take their toll on the superstars of the Seattle defense, and the Seahawks have not found new superstars to take up the slack. Fortunately for Seattle Russell Wilson is taking up the slack with his most productive season yet. As usual the Seahawks are a much better team at home, with a 1-2 road record to go with a 4-1 home record.
The Cardinals are a team that has had its offense's heart and soul ripped out with the loss of starting quarterback Carson Palmer and superstar running back David Johnson. Without those two it is a surprise the Cardinals have still managed a 4-4 record thus far. The Cardinals have had trouble generating much offense this season, and without David Johnson they have relied almost completely on a mediocre passing attack. That's a tough way to make a living against a still potent Seattle secondary.
It's the Cardinals and the Seahawks in an NFC West showdown with playoff implications.
Enjoy the game everybody. As always we ask that you neither ask for nor post illegal streaming links.
