Wilkerson’s remains listed on the injury report with a foot problem so it presumably is still a factor. The Jets previously had alluded to some sort of toe injury Wilkerson had. He missed practice once again on Wednesday. For the last few weeks, Wilkerson has been missing practice but playing on Sunday.
The Jets had other starters sitting out practice on Wednesday. Morris Claiborne continues to recover from the foot injury he suffered against Atlanta. Todd Bowles is uncertain of his status going forward so the Jets might have to prepare to play without him.
Matt Forte also sat out practice. Bowles indicated the knee injury he played through last year has returned, a fairly ominous sign.
Additionally, Brian Winters’ abdomen injury from early this year has returned. He missed practice as well.
