NFL Week 9 on TV in New York

CBS has a doubleheader today while FOX will show one game to each region. If you are a Jets fan in the New York area, however, you won’t have as many viewing options as you would expect. While CBS is showing two games to most regions, there is no early game in New York. NFL rules do not allow any other game to be shown at the same time a local team is playing a home game. Since the Giants are playing at home early on FOX, CBS cannot show a game in the early afternoon timeslot. You only get the Giants early and a CBS game late.

The entire nation will see Raiders at Dolphins tonight on NBC and Lions at Packers tomorrow night on ESPN.
