SNF: Raiders vs Dolphins Game Thread

Sunday Night Football, Week 9. Tonight the Oakland Raiders make the long trip east to Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida to take on the Miami Dolphins.

The Raiders come into the game with their season unraveling, losers of five of their last six games. Just about every game from here on out is a must win if the Raiders want to make the playoffs. Oakland is led by rising star quarterback Derek Carr, wide receiver Amari Cooper, and pass rusher Khalil Mack.

The Dolphins are coming off a complete 40-0 dismantling by the Baltimore Ravens, the second time this year the anemic Dolphins offense has been shut out, and nearly the third, as the Jets held them scoreless for virtually the entire game before surrendering a meaningless last minute touchdown. The Dolphins offense is, in a word, atrocious, and it is a minor miracle they still have a winning record. After trading their best running back, Jay Ajayi, this Dolphins team has the worst offense in the NFL by a wide margin.
