Thursday Night Football, Week 13. How did it get so late so soon? The 5-6 Washington Redskins travel to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas to take on the 5-6 Dallas Cowboys in a renewal of one of the fiercest rivalries in football .
The Cowboys come into the game reeling from the loss of star running back Ezekiel Elliott to a six game suspension, which may well end up costing the Cowboys a playoff berth. Dallas has faced only three teams with a winning record all year, and the Cowboys have lost two of those three games. The only thing the Cowboys have done exceptionally well this year is run the ball, and with Elliott out even that part of the Cowboys' arsenal has become questionable. Dak Prescott has struggled mightily lately and the Cowboys have gone three straight games, all losses, without scoring 10 points on offense, the first time that has ever happened in Cowboys history.
The Redskins come into the game also struggling, losers of four of their last six games. The Redskins are a team at a crossroads, staring down the barrel of losing their starting quarterback, Kirk Cousins, to free agency next year. The Redskins have been hurt by injuries to their backfield, but rookie Samaje Perine has done a nice job of stepping in when needed, with two straight 100 yard games. The Redskins have faced a brutal schedule this year, with four of their losses coming against the Eagles (twice), the Vikings and the Saints, currently sporting the top three records in the NFC.
It's the Cowboys and the Redskins in a NFC East showdown in which the loser will be all but eliminated from the playoff race.
Enjoy the game everybody. As always we ask that you neither ask for nor post illegal streaming links.
