Jets-Panthers Game Thread

Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports

The Jets are back in action today. After two long weeks to think about an ugly loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, they look to get things back on track in a home game against the Carolina Panthers.

Although the Jets have lost four of their last five games, the AFC is mediocre this year, putting the Jets in the Playoff race with a 4-6 record. The team is going to have to start winning games again to make a legitimate push. This week is no easy test. The Panthers are 7-3 and currently occupy an NFC Wild Card spot. Despite the difficulty of the opponent, the Jets have had two weeks to prepare and get healthy. This is the type of game a team with postseason aspirations needs to win.
