This week features two SEC powerhouses that will have serious implications on the college football playoffs. Even without all that postseason tension, this game would still be a hotbed of future NFL talent to keep an eye on. You can find Alabama VS Auburn on CBS at 3:30 PM EST.

Alabama

RB, Bo Scarbrough - - 6’2”, 232 lbs, Junior

Strengths:

  • Forces a lot of missed tackles
  • Explosive for his size

Weaknesses:

  • Ball security
  • Bellow AVG receiving skills

RB, Damien Harris - - 5’11”, 221 lbs, Junior

Strengths:

  • Gets a lot of yards after contact
  • Would be one of the most elusive backs in the draft

Weaknesses:

  • Needs to work on pass blocking
  • Not much of a receiving threat

WR, Calvin Ridley - - 6’1”, 190 lbs, Junior

Strengths:

  • Big play threat
  • Great rout runner

Weaknesses:

  • Drops
  • Age

C, Bradley Bozeman - - 6’5”, 314 lbs, RS Senior

Strengths:

  • Great balance
  • Doesn’t give up many pressures

Weaknesses:

  • Inexperienced as a starter

DI, Da’Shawn Hand - - 6’4”, 284 lbs, Senior

Strengths:

  • Has a great bull rush
  • Has steadily gotten better each year

Weaknesses:

  • Injuries
  • Hasn’t produced like years past

DI, Da’ron Payne, 6’2”, 308 lbs, Junior

Strengths:

  • Very powerful
  • Has some good quickness for his size

Weaknesses:

  • Not much of a pass rush
  • Needs to do better at the point of attack

Edge, Rashaawn Evens - - 6’3”, 234 lbs, Senior

Strengths:

  • Explosive off the edge
  • A movable piece

Weaknesses:

  • Missed tackles

LB, Shaun Hamilton - - 6’0”, 233 lbs, Senior

Strengths:

  • Great closing speed
  • Efficient tackler

Weaknesses:

  • Needs a full year of production
  • Staying with speed in coverage

CB, Minkah Fitzpatrick - - 6’1”, 208 lbs, Junior

Strengths:

  • A versatile player
  • Smooth coverage skills

Weaknesses:

  • Has given up a number of scores
  • Gets in trouble at the top of routs

CB, Anthony Averett - - 6’0”, 185 lbs, RS Senior

Strengths:

  • His smooth hips
  • Efficient tackler

Weaknesses:

  • Can be fooled by double moves
  • Needs to get more physical

CB, Levi Wallace - - 6’0” 183 lbs, Senior

Strengths:

  • Good size
  • Has a passer rating of 21.9 when targeted
  • Plays with a lot of energy

Weaknesses:

  • Does let receivers behind him
  • Does he have the speed to hang with NFL talent

S, Ronnie Harrison - - 6’3”, 214 lbs, Junior

Strengths:

  • Great instincts
  • Very good tackler

Weaknesses:

  • Trouble with speedy slot guys
  • Has allowed some easy scores in his coverage

Auburn

QB, Jarrett Stidham - - 6’3”, 214 lbs, RS Sophomore

Strengths:

  • Has a very high adjusted completion %
  • A threat to run it

Weaknesses:

  • Needs to do better when under pressure
  • Has only come on strong late in the season

RB, Kerryon Johnson - - 6’0”, 212 lbs, Junior

Strengths:

  • Causes a lot of missed tackles
  • Is a 3rd down threat
  • Takes care of the ball

Weaknesses:

  • He runs high
  • Can make the cuts but loses momentum when he does

T/G, Austin Golson - - 6’5”, 315 lbs, Senior

Strengths:

  • Hasn’t given up a sack this year
  • Can play multiple positions along the line

Weaknesses:

  • Needs to hold blocks longer
  • Are his arms long enough to stay outside

Edge, Jeff Holland - - 6’2”, 249 lbs, Junior

Strengths:

  • Has a great 1st step
  • Has violent hands

Weaknesses:

  • Undersized
  • Sort of gets washed against the run

CB, Carlton Davis - - 6’1”, 203 lbs, Junior

Strengths:

  • Good size
  • gets his hands on a lot of balls

Weaknesses:

  • Needs to turn more passes defended into turnovers
  • Has trouble with elite speed downfield
