MNF: Panthers vs Dolphins Game Thread

Monday Night Football, Week 10. Tonight the Miami Dolphins make the trip north to Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina to take on the Carolina Panthers.

The Dolphins have lost their last two games and are beginning to look like the bad team they are. This is an atrocious offense, ranked dead last in the NFL in yards and points. After recently trading their best running back, Jay Ajayi, this Dolphins team has the worst offense in the NFL by a wide margin. The Dolphins are led by veteran quarterback Jay Cutler, who has been terrible most of the year, but is coming off by far his best performance to date against Oakland last week. The Dolphins have no running game to speak of, so if Cutler can't get it going the Dolphins' offense is barely functional. The fact that the Dolphins have somehow managed to score prime time games in back to back games is a mystery of the universe that may never be solved.

Countering the awfulness that is the Dolphins are the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers bring a 6-3 record into this game, with two of their three losses coming at the hands of perhaps the two best teams in the NFC in the New Orleans Saints and the Philadelphia Eagles. The Panthers are led by quarterback Cam Newton, who is having a terrible year passing the ball, and the #1 defense in the NFL in terms of yards allowed and #3 in terms of points allowed. That's the NFL's #1 defense matched up against the NFL's #32 offense. Things might get extremely ugly for Cutler and the Dolphins on national television tonight.

It's the Panthers and the Dolphins in the Battle of The Men In Teal on Monday Night.
