The Jets and the Buccaneers are tied 3-3 at halftime in Tampa.
You might look at that score and think the offenses have been dreadful. You would be correct. The Jets only had 116 yards of offense to Tampa Bay’s 97. Josh McCown and Ryan Fitzpatrick both left a lot of throws on the field. Both threw interceptions, and McCown was lucky he didn’t add a second in the red zone.
The defenses deserve some of the credit here to be fair, but the offenses have missed a number of opportunities. This game probably will come down to which offense gets rolling in the second half. At the very least, it might come down to which quarterback avoids the big mistake. The silver lining is there is still a half left to play, and the game is tied.
