Jets-Browns Defensive Snap Totals: Freddie Bishop Steps Right Into Prominent Role

NFL: New York Jets at Cleveland Browns Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

Freddie Bishop was re-signed to the Jets active roster over the weekend. The former CFL standout has bounced between the roster and the practice squad multiple times in this young NFL season. That did not prevent Bishop from playing an active role in Sunday’s game. He played 42 snaps against Cleveland, 55% of the plays Cleveland ran on offense. He recovered a fumble in the victory.

David Bass continued to see fairly extensive playing time. He saw 56 snaps, meaning he was on the field 74% of the time on defense.

Four Jets defenders never came off the field. They were Demario Davis, Jamal Adams, Marcus Maye, and Morris Claiborne. Buster Skrine only missed a single play, and Darron Lee only was on the bench on four plays.

The complete snap totals for the Jets defensively in their Week 5 victory in Cleveland over the Browns are posted below for you to enjoy.
