Jets-Bills Injury Report: Morris Claiborne Doesn’t Practice

New, comments
NFL: Atlanta Falcons at New York Jets Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

The Jets conducted a walkthrough practice on Monday. Cornerback Morris Claiborne was on the injury report listed as missing practice. Claiborne left Sunday’s game against Atlanta with a foot injury. Todd Bowles was not committal about his status for Thursday night against the Bills.

In other cornerback news, Bowles indicated Buster Skrine is not out of the concussion protocol yet. Skrine was listed as limited on Monday.

Fullback Lawrence Thomas is also in the concussion protocol. Bowles has already ruled him out of Thursday’s game so the Jets will need to work around life without their fullback.

In more positive news, Brandon Shell was listed as limited at practice. Shell missed Sunday’s game against Atlanta after missing practice last week. At the very least, this is a step in the right direction, although the short week could work against his availability for Sunday.

The full injury report for Monday is posted below.
