Buster Skrine missed practice on Wednesday, and Jets head coach Todd Bowles indicated it was due to a concussion he suffered likely at some point in Sunday’s loss to the Miami Dolphins. Skrine had a really rough game against the Dolphins, allowing over 100 yards and 3 touchdowns in coverage. One is left to wonder the extent to which his on field struggles could be traced to the concussion.
In other news, Brandon Shell sat out practice on Wednesday. He was listed as having a neck injury. Todd Bowles did indicate that Shell is day-to-day. That doesn’t necessarily mean Shell will get in enough practice time to be ready for Sunday’s game, though. His status will be worth monitoring all week.
Muhammad Wilkerson and Jordan Leggett were the other Jets to miss practice on Wednesday. Robby Anderson was limited with an ankle injury.
The full injury report for the Jets and the Falcons is posted below.
