There were not many major changes for the Jets in the way offensive snaps were allocated in their Week 7 loss to the Dolphins.
Bilal Powell returned to the lineup. His touches from scrimmage were roughly equal to those of Matt Forte (Powell: 11; Forte: 12). Forte did see the bulk of the snaps, participating in 28 offensive plays, exactly half, compared to Powell’s 21, which equated to 38%. Elijah McGuire only played 7 snaps at the running back position.
On the offensive line, Brandon Shell left the game early. Just as it was earlier in the year, Brent Qvale was the first tackle off the bench. Shell only played 5 snaps while Qvale saw time for the other 51.
The Jets who never left the field on offense were Josh McCown, Kelvin Beachum, James Carpenter, Wesley Johnson, and Brian Winters.
Full offensive snap totals for the Jets are posted below.
