Sunday Night Football, Week 7. Tonight the Atlanta Falcons take their 3-2 record to Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts to face the 4-2 New England Patriots.
In a quirk of the NFL schedule this will be the third in a slate of four straight games against AFC East opponents for the Falcons, with the Falcons already having lost to the Buffalo Bills and the Miami Dolphins. This of course is also a chance for the Falcons to gain a small modicum of revenge for suffering the worst comeback loss in Super Bowl history against the Patriots last February. With neither team being particularly impressive thus far in the 2017 season the 2016 Super Bowl may not be utmost on their minds, as the more urgent business of securing a spot, and preferably a high seed, in the playoffs in 2017 takes precedence.
Both teams feature high flying aerial attacks that are capable of scoring in bunches, though both teams have had some trouble getting untracked in recent weeks.
On paper this one looks like a terrific Sunday Night matchup, with premier players, particularly on offense, featured on both sides, and future Hall of Famers like Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski and Julio Jones poised to light up the airwaves.
Enjoy the game everybody. As always we ask that you neither ask for nor post illegal streaming links.
