Which Dolphin Would You Want on the Jets?

Over at The Phinsider, an article was posted debating which player on the Jets would be the best addition to the Dolphins’ squad. With that in mind, we’ll ask Jet fans the opposite question. If you could add any Miami Dolphin to the New York Jets roster, who would you pick?

I’d go with Cameron Wake. Ndamukong Suh would also be a tremendous pick, but Wake’s pass rushing ability on the edge is a missing element on this Jets defense. I feel like the Jets’ defensive line talent is stronger than that of the edge talent, so it would be wiser to patch up that hole. Pairing Wake with Kony Ealy would solidify the edges and make things so much easier for the rest of the front seven, taking pressure off of a secondary that has overachieved so far.

Offensively, Jay Ajayi is the first player who comes to mind, but I’d also consider some of Miami’s offensive linemen potential upgrades over who the Jets currently have. Could Mike Pouncey strengthen the center of the Jets’ line? Would Laremy Tunsil be a long-term blindside protector? However, my offensive pick would be Jarvis Landry. He would instantly be the team’s top receiver and best punt returner in a long time.

Who would you pick?
