Thursday Night Football, Week 7. The 5-1 Kansas City Chiefs travel to the legendary Oakland Coliseum in Oakland, California to take on the struggling 2-4 Oakland Raiders in one of the best rivalries in the NFL. The Chiefs are coming off their first loss of the season, while the Raiders, picked by many this season to be a Super Bowl contender, have lost four straight and are in danger of falling out of playoff contention.
The Chiefs are led by quarterback Alex Smith, enjoying the finest season of his career, along with offensive stars Kareem Hunt at running back, Travis Kelce at tight end and Tyreek Hill at wide receiver. It is perhaps the most dangerous offensive threesome in the NFL. Combine that with an always tough Chiefs defense and this year's Chiefs team is in the conversation for best team in the NFL.
The Raiders counter with rising star Derek Carr at quarterback, a pair of good receivers in Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree (although Cooper is suffering through a disastrous season thus far) and one of the best offensive lines in the NFL. Though the Chiefs and Raiders have widely divergent records, this rivalry tends to bring out the best in both teams, and you never know when an upset might happen.
It's the Chiefs and the Raiders renewing their ancient rivalry in prime time.
Enjoy the game everybody. As always we ask that you neither ask for nor post illegal streaming links.
