With the offseason underway, the Jets have begun signing players to reserve/future contracts. As a reminder, these are contracts that sign players for the team heading into training camp in 2017. Only players not on an active 53 man roster at the end of the season are eligible to sign these types of deals.
Here are the players the Jets have signed so far.

A number of these players were part of training camp in 2016. Martin might be the most notable of the group. He was neck and neck with Folk in the early practices and then struggled once the preseason games started. Was it due to nerves? He will get another chance.
