It is a tad anticlimactic, but the Jets have made it official. Former Saints wide receivers coach John Morton is their new offensive coordinator.

Morton also had stints with the 49ers and Raiders in addition to a first stint with the Saints. He also worked in college at San Diego and USC.
This was expected as reports broke last week that Morton was in the running for the job and over the weekend that Morton would be hired.
The Jets made another staffing announcement official that had previously been reported.
We have hired Robert Nunn as DL coach.

Nunn has a lot of NFL experience with the Browns, Giants, Bucs, and Packers among his stops.
We have spoken quite a bit about Morton over the last few days, and we will have more in the coming days and weeks. We can’t say for sure what playbook Morton will put in.
What do you think about the hire right now?
