NFL.com draft expert Bucky Brooks has released his first mock draft following the Senior Bowl. As he mentions in the column, there are several pre-draft events that can drastically alter a teams draft board, and the senior bowl is definitely one of them. There are some players who struggle like Desmond King and some players who solidify their draft ranking like Alabama TE O.J Howard.

I always thing you need to know who's on the board to understand the logic of the pick, so here are the first five picks in the mock draft

Cleveland Browns - Myles Garrett, DE, Texas A&M

San Francisco 49'ers - Mitch Trubisky, QB, North Carolina

Chicago Bears - Jonathan Allen, DY, Alabama

Jacksonville Jaguars - Jamal Adams, S, LSU

Tennessee Titans - Jabrill Peppers, S, Michigan

So there we have the players off the board when the Jets come to make their hypothetical selection. Bucky decided to go corner with the Jets:

Marshon Lattimore, CB, Ohio State - With wide receivers building time shares on Revis island, the Jets could look for an explosive CB1 to anchor the secondary.

This selection has been a popular one for draft heads around the league. It makes a lot of sense too, Lattimore has a tremendous about of talent, it's an area of need and the Jets could do with some speed in their secondary.

That does mean we'd leave Leonard Fournette on the board (8th pick here) and extremely talented linebacker Reuben Foster (9th pick) along with many others. I personally wouldn't have a problem with that selection at all.
