We have reached the final four in the 2016 NFL season. I’m not sure that we necessarily have the four best teams from this season still in the hunt, but with apologies to some of the other great passers in the league, I do think we have the four best quarterbacks playing today.
Atlanta and Green Bay kick off the action at 3:00 p.m. Eastern on FOX. It should be a shootout. Atlanta has had the NFL’s best offense all season long, while the Packers have the hottest quarterback in the league, Aaron Rodgers. The last team to have the ball might win that one.
The late game features a couple of teams who don’t like each other, the Steelers and the Patriots in Foxborough. The game will kick off at 6:40 p.m. Eastern on CBS. History will be made in that one. The Steelers and the Patriots are in a four way tie with the Cowboys and the Broncos for most Super Bowl appearances with eight. The winner of this one will go to the big game for a record ninth time.
