2017 NFL Draft Order: Jets Pick Sixth

Dennis Wierzbicki-USA TODAY Sports

We now know the order of picks 1 through 20 in the 2017 NFL Draft. The final twelve spots will be determined by the Playoffs. Picks 21 through 24 will be the losers in the Wild Card round. The Wild Card loser with the worst record will pick 21st, second worst will pick 22nd, and the process will repeat itself through the Super Bowl with the runner up picking 31st and the champion picking 32nd.

As David noted yesterday, the Jets are locked into the sixth pick of the Draft. The last time the Jets picked sixth was two years ago when they landed Leonard Williams. The last time the Jets picked sixth before that was 2008 when they picked Vernon Gholston. As you can probably tell, the success of a player you Draft sixth can vary wildly.

Below is a chart of the picks we know at this point in time.
