Texans vs. Patriots Game Thread

NFL: AFC Divisional-Houston Texans at New England Patriots Greg M. Cooper-USA TODAY Sports

The Atlanta Falcons have punched the first ticket to the Conference Championship round as they eliminated the Seattle Seahawks this afternoon.

The last time Atlanta advanced to the NFC Championship Game was four years ago. They also beat Seattle at home in the divisional round. That same day, the Patriots beat the Texans in Foxborough.

History repeats itself as our second game of the day pits the Patriots against the Texans in Foxborough. The Pats are looking to advance to the AFC Championship Game for an incredible sixth straight year.

New England is an overwhelming favorite. They blew the Texans out early in the season without Tom Brady playing. Now Brady is in the lineup. It is tough to see how the Texans can put enough points on the board, but they will play this game anyway. Maybe the first good game of this postseason will come from an unexpected source.
