We kick off divisional weekend in the South as the Seattle Seahawks visit the Atlanta Falcons. Unless the Falcons and Packers win this weekend, this game will double as the final Falcons game at the Georgia Dome with them moving into a new stadium next season.
These teams met in this round of the Playoffs four years ago in a classic game won in the final minute by the Falcons. It was the start of Seattle’s climb to a consistent contender. They have been to two Super Bowls since, won one of them, and been to the Playoffs every year since. It was also the beginning of the end of a successful run with Mike Smith at the helm for the Falcons early in Matt Ryan’s career. This year is the first time the Falcons have made the Playoffs since.
