The New York Jets have signed cornerback Dexter McDougle, safety Ronald Martin, and running backs Dominique Williams and Raheem Mostert to the team's practice squad.  That fills all ten available spaces on the practice squad.  McDougle, Martin and Williams spent training camp and the preseason with the Jets this year.  Mostert is a 5' 10", 195 pound running back out of Purdue.  He was a 2015 undrafted free agent who spent the 2016 preseason with the Cleveland Browns, where he had seven rushing attempts for 47 yards and caught one pass for seven yards.  Mostert was a top kickoff return man in college.

In another roster move, recently acquired tight end Brian Parker, claimed off waivers just two days ago, has failed his physical and was waived by the Jets.  That leaves one spot on the 53 man roster open for the time being.  The Jets had previously indicated they were not likely to keep four tight ends on the roster past the first week of the season.  Now there are only three.
