The Jets have officially parted ways with 2013 first round pick Dee Milliner.
The #Jets have released CB Dee Milliner from Injured Reserve, per the transaction wire. He’s a free agent.

The Jets waived Milliner at the end of the preseason. Since he was injured, he reverted to the team’s injured reserve list when nobody claimed him. Now the Jets have made a total break from their former first rounder.
Functionally, this does not mean a whole lot. The team had already decided to move on from the cornerback. There was no chance he would be re-signed after the season. This was simply closure.
