Jets third round pick Jordan Jenkins made his NFL debut Sunday against the Chiefs. It was a debut that had been delayed by a calf injury, but the Georgia product finally got onto the field for a regular season game a Sunday.
Jenkins ended up playing 30 of the 63 defensive snaps the Jets had (48%).
Fellow rookie Darron Lee did not come off the field. The first round pick participated in all 63 of the defensive snaps for the Jets. Erin Henderson, who had been sharing the workload at inside linebacker with Lee, was inactive due to a foot injury he suffered in the Week 2 win over Buffalo.
Lorenzo Mauldin only got situational work. He was in for only 17 snaps (27%).
