The right tackle platoon continues for the Jets. Week 2 brought another split of the snaps between Ben Ijalana and Brent Qvale at tackle in place of injured Breno Giacomini.
Wesley Johnson got 47 snaps at left guard after James Carpenter left the game with an injury. You might have missed Carpenter's injury since it happened on the same play Brandon Marshall got hurt, but it had a longer-lasting impact on the game.
Since Ijalana and Qvale both have some degree of experience at guard, it will be interesting to see whether the Jets kick one of them inside or whether the Jets stick with Johnson in the event Carpenter is not ready to go by Week 3.
In other news, the Jets continue to ride Matt Forte. He had over 30 touches and played in over 80% of the snaps.
