Jets vs. Bills Final Score: Jets Overcome Mistakes This Time to Beat Bills 37-31

Kevin Hoffman-USA TODAY Sports

The Jets are 1-1. Their five game losing streak to the Bills is over. The two game losing streak to Rex Ryan is over. The Jets beat the Bills tonight by a 37-31 margin at the stadium in Orchard Park, New York.

This was not a thing of beauty. The Jets squandered a 13 point lead before storming back to win. The Bills scored 24 points before they ran a play from the red zone because of a couple of big passing plays and a fumble return for a touchdown. Despite being down 13 late in the fourth quarter, the Bills ran a play at the end of the game with a chance to win it. There were mental errors and poor coaching decisions.

On the plus side, the offense was terrific. Ryan Fitzpatrick bounced back in a big way from his subpar season opener. Brandon Marshall, Eric Decker, and Quincy Enunwa all had big games, and Matt Forte added three rushing touchdowns.

I am not totally satisfied, but a win is a win. It beats a loss. At the end of the day, the Jets got what they needed.
