The Jets lead the Bengals 16-13 at halftime of the 2016 regular season opener for both teams at MetLife Stadium.
The Jets came out on fire forcing a three and out, scoring a touchdown on their first drive, and intercepting an Andy Dalton pass on the first three possessions of the game. The Jets drove the ball inside the 10. Despite running six plays because of a penalty, they came away from that drive with no points as the offense stalled, and a Nick Folk field goal was blocked. Folk later missed an extra point, meaning the Jets have left somewhere between 4 and 8 points on the field.
The defense has sacked Andy Dalton five times through two quarters of play. New addition Steve McLendon has a pair of those sacks.
Leave your second half thoughts below as the Jets try to hold this halftime lead. It is New York ball to start the third quarter.
